Workshop Design

With the growing demand for mental health services, the application of group work and workshops has become increasingly popular, evolving into a psychological intervention method as vital as individual casework. Guided by the philosophy that " everyone has the potential to become others' helping angel", this course is specifically designed for those dedicated to advancing mental health. It offers professional guidance, systematically explaining the fundamental principles and techniques of designing groups and workshops, helping students step by step to complete their planning. Based on students' working environments and target populations, instructors provide supervision and consultation, offering feedback and advice throughout the design process, guiding students progressively from concept to the final design of a workshop or group. If students have the opportunity to implement their designs, instructors will provide further consultation, suggestions, and evaluations throughout the execution process. This course is particularly suitable for social workers, teachers, and event planners.

Learning mode: This course adopts a project-based learning approach, utilizing online lectures and individual supervision consultations to support the design and execution of art therapy groups or workshops. Students are required to schedule consultation sessions with the instructor.
